Vumatel trenched, on 1Gbps line...

I know this is LAN, but those latencies and jitter are why ISPs always ask if it’s WiFi. 993ms and that jitter point to a massive line issue. Worked through your results from Fridays test with the team today. Will run a second set of tests tomorrow to confirm the results. Then submitting to Vumatel.

Thanks, all seems back to normal again now. Was down for sometime. Don't get why this line is so flacky.

Ahh, another issue with Vuma trenched in CPT... I wonder why...

I'm on CISP and last night was filled with buffering on Twitch and lag spikes in Blizzard games.

Ok, I'll do that pcap later today. Something is very not kosher somewhere. Been installing KTS for 20 minutes. It's literally downloading at ~10KB/s

So far it's just battle.net and kaspersky where I've had speed issues

Hey, @websquadza, is there any indication from Vumatel that they intend to extend the 1gbit offer past March 2020? The time is fast approaching...

Services fully restored. RFO to follow a little later.

Update here: A faulty optic led to our NNI flapping, do that rapidly enough and you can confuse a port group it seems. Short term fix on Monday was to shut down the offending port. Permanent fix was to replace the optic, which was done during our scheduled maintenance window on Tuesday morning.

We're still pushing Vumatel on this. Will follow up off thread for a few more results... but the general fallback is that they have enough backhaul capacity...

Looked into KTS.. Slow wherever I try download it from (tried a few other networks too). Testing different steering techniques to see if we can get them to route back to us differently and what the effect is.

We've asked in every recent account meeting with them... No final verdict yet. I'm hoping late adoption by the big boys in the game will have some effect on extending or even formalising the product (This is my personal hope - not an opinion/statement here)

Anyone else having issues with International traffic:

I'm on SADV - 100/100. Asked a neighbour to test with a different provider and they got full speed :/

@websquadza
Thanks for getting my parents all set up and sailing smoothly.
Awesome service as always.
Special thanks you to S for helping out. :)
Appreciate it

Hi guys, I'm thinking of moving from my SkyFi 200mbps account (Vuma) to WebSquad.

With SkyFi I do get good gaming latencies and good speeds on locally cached stuff (YouTube / Netflix / Steam / Origin / etc), but my Linux distros (p2p) have never performed faster than around 50mbps - 80mbps (and all my international speedtests show 10mbit, but that's neither here nor there).

How is international bandwidth and p2pwith WebSquad? Thanks :)
