Yea terrible speeds. Seems its not only Microsoft
Where else are you getting slow speeds? I'm fine one the things I'm using (rcopy from server in NL, downloaded WoW earlier, downloaded Arma 3 off steam fine, watching netflix with no issue)

Edit: Just tried to download from the Nvidia site out of interest

Seems to be a US route issue

The I can access the portal, but the link that takes you to cPanel is not responding.

We made some IP changes as well as enabled IPv6 on the remainder of our CPanel servers last night. Apologies, I think this may have broken SSO for you. I’ve asked our Dev to check and assist.

Fixed, thanks!

When will we get symmetrical 1Gbps connections on Vumatel trenched?

I am also having this. Downloading update system firmware for nvidia Shield, a 114mb file was crawling, like 0.01mb/sec... Turn on vpn to new York server and suddenly downloading at like 5mb/s...

This seems to be a DNS issue, changing us to uk in the download link works wonders. Investigating which DNS service (quad 1 or quad 8) is causing this.

Microsoft is still slow as all hell

Seeing any improvement here? Also DNS based issue I think, as this was being served out of Cogent's cache rather than Microsoft's network..

Fixed, thanks!

When will we get symmetrical 1Gbps connections on Vumatel trenched?

At the moment, this isn't on the cards. I know it's possible, we provide it to schools, but no updates on Vumatel commercials at all for both the promo or whether we're seeing a 1/1Gbps. Just out of interest, because we see so little upload traffic over the whole network, why do you need 1G up? Maybe we can assist with Colocation?

NAS :)

It's better, but nowhere near to the 20MB/s I was seeing before

Still not 100% sure about this, but I think quad 1 (1.1.1.1) DNS is reporting weird things to the CDNs, which means we're being fed from random caches instead of the global CDN. We're toying around with different DNS servers here to see if we get different results. Once confirmed, we'll escalate accordingly.

I'm just using my gateway's DNS, been too lazy to change it since I reinstalled windows a few weeks ago lol

Tested with 8.8.8.8,9.9.9.9 and 1.1.1.1 and all reported same cache, might be more an issue on Nvidia's CDN.

Did end up getting the speed up after doing 3-4 consecutive requests, cancelling them and starting again. Same source IP...

btw - will respond to your PM after tomorrow's test :p
