Tricky game of whack a mole these past few days. Picking up that some of these issues are completely offnet, like the one above. So we put it down to a platform issue - especially when TCP (MTR) shows no packet loss. We did have our own upstream struggle with a congested port in the EU over the weekend (we turned them down which seemed to ease the issue), which has now been resolved - this affected peering traffic to Blizzard and OVH.

Just out of interest, local Warzone servers are hosted on Optinet (if I'm correct). Are you connecting to these (local) or to international ones? We saw an issue with Optinet earlier this year where their NLD multi-pathing led to serious fragmentation in UDP packets. We implemented temp override and carried traffic to and from the specific handoffs ourselves. It could be this issue has returned?
We connect to them locally and they hosted by MWEB. Apparently almost everyone is having performance issues, especially during peak hours. I spoke to a wide variety of people on different networks, different setups and basically everyone came back with issues. I personally don't play the game a lot since I have struggle with so many game issues where I have to find a manual fix such as changing 2 values in the config or who knows what to get it running smoothly. The guys on Cool Ideas thread also looked into it a while back and they also could not find much wrong. I think most of us just accepted it was poor servers. I personally only struggle on the JHB servers where the Cape Town ones are fine. I recall Cape Town and JHB were different providers hosting

I came on to discuss Warzone and see I'm not the only one experiencing issues. Just wanted to note a couple things:
1. I get frequently disconnected, sometimes even in menu before searching - this issue seems to have become more prolific since Friday, yesterday was the worst.
2. My teammates also experience disconnects, and they're with Vox.
3. I tried googling the problem and found many suggestions which I tried with no success.

While the above isn't particularly helpful - I do believe that Warzone/Battle.net is experiencing issues.

I also came across ExitLag - which seems to optimize routing for specific games. @websquadza not sure if you've come across this before?
Still getting disconnected. Annoying AF.

Late to the party here, but I play COD MW on PS4 - Vumatel trenched, Gallo Manor area, 1000/ 100. I can confirm that I have lots of latency issues while my friends on the same servers don’t. I’m talking Multiplayer not Warzone by the way.

interesting thing is that my connection has historically been the best from all my friends -we used to mostly play BFV until they removed the local servers and I never really had an issue there. Even now my ping is generally amongst the lowest yet I lag out randomly. I really suspect this is a server issue, not an ISP one

You're JHB right? What latency do you see to servers? and @Cowboy619 - you're in CPT connecting to JHB?
Yip CPT and connecting to JHB. I have not had any issues besides that one packet loss incident. But i am all good with MW then again i have a Netgear Nighthawk Xr500 which controls all my gaming aspects and only connect to local servers and not peer or international games as i have them blocked

yeah.. Why do we 1gbps/100mbit up not get any benefit... ? That is very sad.

1Gbps at R1499 is a hell of a good promo price already (remember this product is already massively discounted). Both Vuma and ISPs taking a massive haircut for that price.

PimpMyFibre to 2gbit.. I won't tell anyone :)

Sitting on my 1G at home and wouldn't complain about a 2G. But remember, 1G optics everywhere, 1G switches at the POPs and 1G CPEs in our houses. 1G+ isn't anywhere close to being viable.

Hi guys, might be a Blizzard issue but trying to play Modern Warfare again this afternoon and getting disconnected every match mid match with a message "server disconnected", this in local games through EU setting in the client. I am wondering if anything changed?
