Just ran the same test from here on a 1gbps line, vumatel trenched durban. Got a ton of buffering tonight. Not great at all.

My bad, I ran to the laptop to run and forgot that machine was running on vpn, quite right. Here is the test again without it on.

Working on options here. Our primary choice for transit doesn’t seem to peer with SAIX. Will message you off thread for more info.

MyBB is SUPER slow, my pages aren't loading, etc.

Apologies, only picking this up now. We didn't see any issues on the network, but we did see a large drop off in traffic on our access layer around 2pm (which lasted a few minutes). We're looking into what may have caused this.

Update: This seems to have been a drop on the WACS leg on our upstream's network. We're awaiting an RFO.

No network notices from Vumatel yet, so could be isolated to just you. I see you’ve opened a ticket. We’ll respond on the ticket and escalate to Vumatel. We’ll update the network status page if Vumatel sends through any notices.

Vumatel staff on the east rand are awesome!

The gent here is trying his level best to resolve my issue, which was weak transmission, he even went as far as hooking ours up to the neighbors spare line to see what’s going on,

Turns out ( when he went to check the junction down the road) ekhuruleni ploughed through the one section close to the junction fixing a water pipe , so they getting a team in now

But really impressed with vumatel!
