That's why I downgraded back down to 200/200. Anything above is not worthwhile on Octotel.Honestly Octotel should just stop providing this service and give me a 500/250 link. Expecting gigabit speeds on their network is a bit optimistic I think.

You must be in a slightly better Octotel neighbourhood than me. I could hit about 40-50MB/sec but only if I threw several dozen connections at a download, which then got me slapped by the upstream DDoS protection and black-holed for a few minutes at time. Eventually I found I could achieve a max of around 35MB/sec consistently without triggering anything, and that just wasn't worth the extra money for me.I mean I'm still getting on average double the download speed than 200Mbps (and higher in best case scenarios) so I't worth the extra 300 bucks imo. As for the upload only being 100 I haven't really noticed that impacting me all that much.
One thing I did appreciate about being on 200/200 was the consistency, most of the time it would reach those speeds now it's a crap-shoot as to what speed I'll get.

Same as Google right? And with Google it resolves to local data centre with 5 ms ping. Netflix is supposed to do the same but tonight, we go all the way to the US.Netflix.com is server from a US source. The content should be local.
