Anything more specific you can give me? YouTube/Netflix traffic is mostly from a local cache in KZNYouTube etc very slow tonight. Vumatel trenched, Durban

Telkom as well, ads load fine, but after that. buffer, buffer, even on 360pSame complaints on Afrihost thread.
Yeah, even warp doesn't help.Telkom as well, ads load fine, but after that. buffer, buffer, even on 360p
No issues this side, Youtube loading just fine on Vuma trenched in JHB. Sounds more like an MTU or packet loss issue. I see you've sent a ticket, will ask the team to respond there.Same here. Internet is shocking tonight. YouTube doesn’t work.
This was related to some Google issues and seems to have affected a number of networks, so likely off Google JHB's NAP side. It’s taking quite long to load videos initially, almost like something odd is happening with the ads. Then once the video loads, it doesn’t have any problems.
I’m mainly noticing the issue on YouTube now but will check if anything else is slow too.
Twitter use fastly's CDN - will look if they're experiencing any issuesAny issues y’all are aware of affecting KZN? Images on Twitter don’t seem to load. Speeds seem a bit slower too.
Edit: seems to be better now
Apologies for the late reply - there's been nothing official from Octotel yet, but judging by the incentives sent out for secondary towns recently (which we will announce soon); I think they may be feeling the pressure from other FNOs. I'd give it a few more months and I hope we will see some positive adjustments coming from team orange.@websquadza - firstly just wanted to say thanks so much, I personally haven't noticed a single issue with my connection for quite a while now, even through the Google CDN issues etc.
I know you probably hate this question, but I don't suppose there are any rumblings of better pricing on Octotel? I see the 100mb package on Vuma is now R170 cheaper, and the 200mb package is the same price as the 100mb package on Octotel, a good R200 cheaper.
Understand if there is nothing to be said, thought I'd try my luck- would be really nice if the 100mb price point got a bit more competitive.
I believe this ticket has been in correspondence today - and tests have been requested. Please try assist while the team determines what the issue is.
