Not seeing any losses on this mtr? Only loss if it shows on the last hop. Those two intermediate devices are Vuma routers with ICMP rate limiting; this minimises CPU load on these devices.
dont know what to say / ask, lol, we keep timing out, regardless what / where we connect, here is a local rust server ( intoxicated)

The service outage is still ongoing. Engineers are still working on resolving the issue.


We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are observing service degradation at our Data Centre in Johannesburg. Our Engineers are investigating the issue, and preliminary investigations indicate that the issue is related to a Multicast storm spreading across the network. We will provide feedback as soon as we have further information.

Oh and twitch has just been 504 more than a few times as well today
One of our upstreams have had a bad day on their network, with a multicast storm dropping a large portion of their network. We are monitoring closely and will drain if the issue continues.
 
Lost connection about 10min ago in PTA. Anyone else? Openserve ONT shows A-okay.

Nevermind, loadshedding screwing with Openserve's batteries :/

forced reset (again) and now it's up. there's definitely a problem on this line (line or device). a while back i shared some data with you and you were going to raise that with VT. did we get anywhere with that?

edit: bunch of people on the subrub WhatsApp group saying the same - line down. started at 08h48, back at 09h30. quotes: "Vodacom says area outage. waiting for Vumatel." "Cool Ideas says it's a Vumatel line that is down". etc.

also, "WebAfrica says there is no outage", which is funny. :)

Anyone else struggling to watch YouTube videos @ 1440p or 4k, getting constant buffering.

Also OneDrive downloads are unbearable slow, between 200 kbps to 990 kbps (on a 1 Gigabit line)

Seeing any packet loss? Both those services are reasonably local
 
I'm also having speed issues on my 1Gbp line.
