@WAJeff
I did pm you last week, but I guess you are pretty busy. I also don't see anything in the WA FAQ concerning this.
Which would be the best ADSL option for gaming priority when using WA? According to your priority chart, gaming only gets a "high" at the most, and not a "top" for any of the options. Is this due to gaming ports being difficult to distinguish from p2p? If I was to use WA for gaming, I would want a "top" priority.

its damn good on my redafrica 30gb special, saw the lowest ping ever on wow last night 165ms!!

Hey snobee,

I just replied to your PM now :)
Sorry, by the time you PM'ed me on Friday afternoon I was on my way outta the office.

To answer your question in a bit more of a broad sense, prioritisation can have p2p at a low priority and gaming at a higher priority. Gaming in general (specifically to WAGE [Web Africa Gaming Experience] which is hosted on our network) is extremely fast as the hops are naturally a lot less.
Saying that however, doesn't mean that gaming to EU, US or other gaming servers are poor - but for the lowest possible latency can be obtained by looking at our Home Pro add-on which has a high priority as apposed to the medium priority on our normal Home accounts.

You can read up a bit more about priority on our KB article and check out the table of priorities over here - http://kb.webafrica.co.za/admin/media_store/2/Shared/bmV3cHJvZHVjdHMtc21hbGw0Lg~~.jpg

A 3GB trial account is also available to give our network a bash. This is on a silver priority.

Thanks for the info :)
I already use WA though I recently changed to a business 4mbit uncapped when it first was released, and I am not that impressed with it. It is fine in general, but will obviously not be good for gaming. So that is why am thinking of an additional account. Pity the pro add-on also comes with a "double-the-fee" addition :)

Are you on Business Lite or a Business package?
Either or, should be quick with latency and ping times :/

What kind of latency are you looking at, at the moment snobee?
