No, send it back in any box. Make sure all the cables are included.

They also demanded I return the router that I got when signing 5+ years ago. I was under the impression that it was covered in the 3 year contract I signed (I was one of the first people that got FTTH on openserve) and after the 3 years it would be mine, anyway I do not want that router even if someone would give it for free
I requested them to send a courier to collect their router, was told it was not an option. I ended up driving to Neology and handing back the router, real PoS e-waste. I upgraded to a real router many years ago. I signed up with a real ISP(vox) and got a nice microtik HAP AC2.
