WebAfrica Capped ADSL

Whelp, I guess I've got data coming out my ass from all these MyBB specials that I've picked up from WA and Vox and that have doubled or sextupled from their original caps. They're too good a deal to cancel either of them but I can't use this much data a month.

Cannot imagine a decade ago there would come the day when the data would beat me.

lol, same here. Going to have to find a way of using more data, maybe move my Netflix quality up to 1080p instead of 720p, haha.
 
If only WA didn't throttle (or otherwise restrict) the Anytime data ... :(

What do you mean by "full 6 hours" in relation to Anytime data?

I find these WebAfrica "Home ADSL" packages are great during the Download Plus time, but during Anytime they're definitely not as good as Vox. Certainly newsgroups won't hit the full 10Mbps in Anytime, and something like Twitch streams are much more likely to have stalls.

My Download Plus (midnight to 06h00) is unrestricted; Anytime (06h00 to midnight) is restricted.

Oh, sorry... just read that again.

I'll have to do some tests. Don't really download much during the day.
 
I'm going to need a faster line to stream at 1080p now :p How else will I use all of that precious GBs??

I'll just treat my connection as if it's uncapped now, doubt I'd manage to get to 200GB on a 4Mbps line.

I'm also going to need another hard drive...
 
200GB is easy on a 4Mb line. The most I have managed in one month on my 4Mb line was 380GB. Showmax during the day and downloads after hours.
