This is Sunday night and getting such poor speeds. WA sure does throttle, shape, prioritize or whatever they want to call it

Maybe it's just you? My speeds with WA are still perfectly normal, just ran this test now:



I find all the recent WA hate around here very confusing. Would y'all rather be like those Telkom Uncapped LTE peeps, with 2 Mbps downloads every single evening and a fair usage cap of 50GB?

In my previous apartment I was with WA, and I signed up with them again in my new apartment for a simple reason: they never quibbled when I submitted my cancellation notice, and my cancellation was automatically captured, a nice e-mail sent, and disconnected on the correct day (my Telkom landline ... I had to fight for a month to achieve the same). I'm back with WA because of that good client care, and a shed-load of data at a great price.

I've complained plenty in the past and have come to the conclusion that if you're on the right package then the problem is probably local.

Streaming Sky News and upgrading to Windows 10 at the same time.

I have been throttled, shaped and DOS'ed the last month. But in their defense I did download BF4 premium in 3 days whilst streaming vids and downloading some other stuff. It's been tough but just increased to a 2 star rating. At least my browser goes to google now.

On the usage tracker issue our team are still working out the last few bugs but it should all be 100% shortly.

Back to the network issues, I've checked with our Network team who have advised that our network is not congested and we have loads of spare capacity. So I need to get each case investigated. Can you PM me your account details, with a speedtest and a local/international trace route so I can get our guys to take a look.

Is it possible to check the network usage on the 12th of July in the evening? It felt like Microsoft's patch Tuesday made the internet unusable around 19:00 - 21:00 ish for me. Pretty sure that would indicate congestion somewhere.

Anyone else having issues with YouTube streaming? It's been very inconsistent for me these past few weeks on my 10mbit ADSL line. Some days/nights it streams fine and on others I barely get 0.5-1mbit (right clicking on a YT video allows you to see what speed your stream is coming down at). This obviously makes trying to watch YT content very frustrating...When doing a speedtest I get normal (9-10mbit) downloads so it's not an overall 'account speed' issue.

Welcome to my world. (4mbps line) Never usually struggles with 720@60 or 1080P.

I can't stream 720p youtube, 10mb Capped Home Pro.
