Website theme help/design

Hi, my site needs more functionality and Wordpress is a bit boring on it's own, but I can't use any of the content management systems as they are too hard for me...

Can someone maybe help me?

Which content management systems have you tried that were too hard? Joomla really isn't that tough. A bit of setup, maybe, but once that's done, it's all smooth sailing.

What kind of functionality would you like to implement? Sometimes, the best way is the hard way: put in the hours to read a book and get yourself up and running.

Is Joomla in the repositories for linux?

Head over to www.joomla.org and download the latest release. Extract it in your htdocs, hit the site with your browser, and follow the instructions. Pretty straight forward. The same goes for drupal (www.drupal.org).

If you already have WordPress, I'd simply go for a new theme, and check out some of the add-ons available. Happy searching!
