Weight loss challange!

Lots of cardio work. The rowing , jogging is good. Forget about the weight, rather concentrate on getting fit. If your fit, you'll probably weight less, just remember muscle is heavier than fat.
 
Beer doesn't make you fat mate ;)

Its the food that you eat while drinking beer that does. The body more readily stores nutrition as fat while under the influence of alch.

To add to Devill, while beer contains some calories on its own (not taking into account the snacks you consume while drinking!), wine is less fattening than beer for a given alcohol content.
 
Need to loose it by November, summer, new house has jacuzzi and pool = ladies :p

Currently, my endurance is zilch. My heart rate is between 170-185 for a good 80% of the rowing, cycling and jogging - stupid machine keeps saying heart rate critical :p

The exercises in there are bloody extreme, in the sense that it tests your endurance. It's really good and would recommend you give it a try.

I never mix my beer with food :/ Beer must do something alone?

Does beer really make you fat? If I ate a low fat diet or was a vegan and drank pints every day would I get a beer belly?

Remember alch can stay in your body for up to 24 hours IIRC... So that babelas food you cram in is also going straight foor the extra flab.

No. That is a lie :p Because we don't really drink 5% wines nor 15-20% beers ;)

Per ml beer on average contains less calories than wine. But they even out because we drink less wine than beer.

But to be safe stick to whiskey :D

I found this pretty interresting ...

So here you have people posting in here saying what to do to lose weight which is cool. But then you have the crowd how stroll in here saying how they keep theweight off.

The funny thing is, why would people who have no weight issues been reding this tread so religiously?

Yeh - I've lost 15kg before very quickly when I was into the whole body building thing... but then I was extremely fit and healthy, so it was easy. Jogging 10km was easy.

Now its not so easy anymore, being unfit is not something I want to do again went from a 32-33" waist to a 40-42" waist - time to loose 10".

Girlfriend saw some pictures taken when I was fit and healthy and etc... she didn't believe it was me until she recognized a couple of scars :(

No offence but depends on whether you just want to lose weight or drop your body fat. Resistance training has been shown to be a more efficient way of burning off the fat than cardio work. Nothing wrong with including cardio inbetween weight workouts to get the fitness up.

What goes in your pie hole though is the most important consideration
