Weight Loss/ Gain thread Dec 2014 - 2015

Wow captain obvious. You really figured out i'm not management, well gee golly gosh you must be the sharpest pencil in the box. As far not having to listen to anyone who isn't the boss of you, that's a tired old argument isn't it? Watching too much Malcolm in the middle again?

Now the point remains stop derailing and kindly fsck off to another thread where can debate LCHF and insult one another over pages and pages to your hearts content.
How about no, you child?

You know, it really saddens me that this thread has devolved to this, the 2013 and 2014 threads were mainly civil if with some debate. However they focussed mainly on effective ways to lose weight, combining weight gain with weight loss had brought a totally different dynamic as well as a different breed of poster into the thread. It's quite interesting that regulars of the previous 2 threads are suddenly being told in a not such a pleasant manor to depart the thread. It's really sad that it's devolved to mud slinging, swearing and name calling.

Unfortunately one or two vocal people feel the need to tell people that what they are doing is wrong and that they are failures at life. People can't help but respond.

I think there should be a moderation rule for this thread - you can give advice to a particular person on their approach, but cannot discuss approaches in general.

For instance,
"Ancalagon, I really think if you exercised 5 times per week instead of 4, you would get much better results" would be acceptable, but
"LCHF is for losers and anyone who follows it is a mouthbreathing neckbeard virgin loser." is not, because it does not relate to a specific poster.

Well said. I agree completely.

(Can I say "Ancalagon, you're a neckbearded virginbreathing mouthloser"? It relates to a specific poster ;) )

I breathe virgins? Cool!

EDIT: As long as they are female virgins over the age of 18!

Morning all, congrats Fanie,

New rule - Please allow people to have their opinions and make suggestions without shutting them down.
Conversely voice your opinion in a constructive non-aggressive manner.

Otherwise I'm starting a "wall of ass" on the front page and all offenders with their offending quote will head onto it :D

As mentioned by Ol' Mean Bastid, these have historically been threads where people support each other and people often achieve great results

Well done fanie, don't stuff it up too much this weekend :D

I'll still try to eat as right as I can. But I don't think it will do anything as all the carbs in the beer :( At least I'll be in nature walking moving around, and not behind my desk, so that'll help too.

But from Monday, I'll be sober until at least end of Feb, when our office pool deadline is. At the rate I'm going the pot is mine!!! ALL MINE!!! MWAHAHAHA

My biggest problem is also the beer, its a big big big problem.
I have gone back to my roots and drink Brandy and Diet Coke these days, but it honestly does not taste the same as when I was 22. Now I only want beer.....

Isn't that a bit much? Or is it the "going rate"

(Not criticizing, but we all know we have been told no more than 500g a week is the way to go )
