Lots of oily foods yesterday. Had a McDonald's double quarter pounder combo tonight for dinner. I turn 39 tomorrow![]()

Nice Fanie. I'm hovering between the 113 and 114 mark at the moment. Considering going back to gym so I can break through this barrier.
Hey guys, just stumbled onto this thread and thought I'd weigh in.. (see what I did there?)
I weighed 64.3kgs on 1st Jan, and today I weigh 52.2kgs (I'm really short, about 1.6m)
The weight loss method I've been using is calorie counting (using MyFitnessPal). I've found it fantastic, as I've been eating mainly low-calorie healthy meals, but have been able to include Nando's, Burger King, pizza, sugars & carbs into my diet whenever I craved them and still lose about an average of about 1kg per week.
Worked for me too until I got to goal weight and stopped counting calories in the fatsecret app. Everytime I then shot back up to my starting weight in a matter of 3 to 6 months. I am a person of extreme: either starve myself or eat way too much - never found the happy medium.
Thankfully, since finding Low Carb, have been at current weight for 7 months and counting while eating when I am hungry and until I am satisfied.
No such thing as "dangerous" saturated fats....
