I would honestly run more and do more sports than give up some of the stuff you guys are doing.
Without carbs i would die. Without sugar in my tea, i would probably lose my job.
 
Just had a nice salad from fruit and veg. Gonna be hungry @ 3 though. And no snack. Need to do some shopping!
 
If you have a proper eating plan theres no reason to be hungry
if you are you're eating incorrectly

Example of 1600 calorie diet day

Breakfast (300 calories)
¾ cup 100% fruit juice
1 slice whole-grain toast
1 oz whole-grain breakfast cereal
½ cup fat-free milk


Lunch (450 calories)
2 oz meat, poultry, or fish
2 slices whole-grain bread
2 pieces lettuce
2 slices tomato
½ cup baby carrots
½ cup berries or 1 piece of fruit
1 cup fat-free milk

Mid-afternoon Snack (200 calories)
5 whole-grain crackers
1 tbsp peanut or other nut butter
½ fat-free milk


Dinner (500 calories)
1 cup vegetable soup
2 oz meat, poultry, or fish
1 medium sweet potato or white potato
½ cup broccoli
1 cup fat-free milk

Late-night Snack(150 calories)
½ cup low-fat frozen yogurt
½ cup crushed fruit on top

What can I have instead of the whole grains?
 
sigh i agree, i also am around the same amount of calories per day, just the last few weeks i have been eating a bit excessively, so the initial drop in size of each meal portion can take a little while to get used to :(
 
Green tea is different to Green Rooibos tea.

I'm sure you're right. It's still a good tea though :)

Make it. I haven't tried it, but here's the recipe I got off the net.

2 and a half tbs oil
A third of a cup of almond flour
1 egg
Half teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt

Mix well, put into a normal size mug and microwave for approx. 90 seconds on high. Cool, remove from mug and slice.
