Weight loss

I'm also eating fat free yogurt from woolies. I like theirs and darling. But the full milk yogurt keeps me fuller for longer than the fat free ones.

Old mean Bastid, why did you say no to fat free?

Beware of fat free or low fat. Fat adds flavour to food, so if they take the fat out they add in other junk, especially sugar, to make it taste better.

I like the fat free because its not thick and gross. Does it make such a big difference though? If you eat 100g of this or that yoghurt?

To make a lot of fat free products palatable, producers add sugar to sweeten the products, have a look at how many carbs are in fat free yoghurts and other products. You can overshoot your daily allowance of carbs on one fat free yoghurt

1 - you double posted showing desperation
2 - it costs money
3 - you're being persistant.
4 - you use buzz phrases like "serious about fat" assuming that people here "aren't"
1. As many can attest to, the forum is buggy and I could not delete the second post, nor did I want to add a 3rd post because that would be 3 posts.
2. SleekGeek does not cost money unless you want to enter the challenges in order to win prizes. It costs nothing to join the FB support group and people will help you offering FREE advice out of the kindness of their hearts. I have met Elan personally and that dude is so not driven by money, in fact using his life savings to do something he believes in.
3. I am only being persistent in correcting your assumption of my post and its intended well meaning.
4. This is a subjective topic, i.e. the amount of fat one should lose, so I'll leave you guys to it then on that front.

Can I join in, not for prizes but just for motivation?

Sure sinbad - I'll add a "late joiners" section - where we can monitor progress. Send me stats

Guys, a favour in future please - just pm me with your weight each Monday - makes it easier to keep track

Thanks

so just to supplement my earlier post, here's an example - Woolies Low Fat frozen yoghurt 28.8g glycaemic carbs per 175ml, Dairybelle Double Cream Greek yoghurt 8g glycaemic carbs per 175ml. I know this is not a direct apples for apples comparison (frozen vs normal yoghurt), but it's just to give you an indication of the difference and it's all I've got in the fridge :p

Also - Spring is in the air so no more excuses to stay in bed!!!!

Just back from the gym, people are insane, it was so busy.

Yup people are waking up from the winter slumber. The gym is not big enough for everyone. I had to wait for 40 mins for a set of kettlebells, cycled while waiting but still, they messing with my flow. :-(
