Weight loss

I can't run at all :-(

Ill stick to the deadlifts, bench n shoulder press and kettlebells with the bike n rowing for my cardio.

Maybe when my weight is less I'll start running. Right now my knees and ankles won't last

Don't worry - I have had excellent results with the bike :) Don't do anything that might get you injured...
 
How many ladies are doing this challenge?
This muscle building business doesn't do it for me :D
 
I'll say this again based on some of the posts above, exercise whilst good for you in terms of overall health should not be seen as your primary mechanism for weight loss, especially aerobic exercise, resistance exercise has more impact on weight loss than aerobic.

So for those of you that struggle with running, it's not a train smash

Go look at youtube vids of the girls doing crossfit and come back to me. I'd take a body like that over the one I have any day

Woman generally don't produce enough testosterone to become she-hulks
I agree running isn't a primary mechanism for weight loss (A 500 calorie deficit is far easier to create through diet)
Also that calories aren't absolutes but a good guideline-

What I am seeing a lot of is "I'll give this a try" or "I'll give that a go"

Nothing gives instant results so giving something a "go" will generally yield nothing and you'll just move on.

Find a plan and stick to it for a few months - then you'll see how effective it is.

Just a little FYI, cross fit is natural exercise. Weight training is not. You will get a bit awkward looking from weight training.
But not that much if you stay away from the additional stuff like protein shakes
