Weight loss

I've decided to give this diet a shot. I won't be consuming butter coffee at all though, considering that I don't drink coffee, but I will be adopting a low-to-no carb diet with a higher than usual fat intake...

So... I changed my breakfast from egg and cereal to egg and beetroot juice... Will see if that does anything.
Whats a good way of getting in fat from something that's not greasy or processed or comes from an animal?

Beetroot juice is probably worse than cereal :P

Olive oil in a green salad?

Depends on what you want from it...So far I've been feeling better on the juice. Been having it for about a week and I think I'll stick to it for now.

Cheeses, yoghurt, avocados, nuts, eggs, butter, home-made hamburger patties (make them in advance and freeze them then cook straight from frozen), biltong, fish with the skin on like sardines (if we're talking breakfast).

But you still need to watch what fats you're consuming because you don't want to spike your cholesterol poorly. Basically, if you eat medium chain triglycerides only, you'd have to be eating so much of it that it might land up giving you liver problems, and you might also miss out on other important essential fatty acids. So don't simply stick with one type of fat consumption, even though medium chain triglycerides are fairly healthy. Make sure you get a host of different fats, especially omega-3 fats. Kiwi fruit for example is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids. Sardines are great in this respect and they're full of MCTs as well.

Basically, sardines are a bit of a super-food, if we're going to use that classification. And they're delicious...

I don't like olive oil

Have you tried any other cold-pressed oils? Hemp oil is quite nice (nooo it won't get you high), avo is not bad either. Otherwise nuts... but that can be a slippery slope. Brazil nuts are about the only kind I can have a handful or fewer of, any other kind... the bag is the serving size :(

I don't like oils in general :( Is grapeseed ok? I can get that down more or less if its well hidden with some lettuce... Hmm never knew you get hemp oil. Will look into it. And I can't eat nuts although I do love them.
