Weight loss

Lanning this weekend.... So have my Monster and coffee and brownies are baked and getting burgers tonight... So going to feel  after all this but its going to be totally worth it :D :D

Almost done with another week - really hoping for some results this week :'(

Haven't improved this week, just haven't felt like hitting the gym, the flu bug made me tired, will restart later today if I get the energy.
Hovering around the 118.5 mark so that is still pretty awesome considering I have been trying for years to get below 120kg - now just need to push to the next mini target of 110kg. I tend to lose only if I exercise, not interested in this LCHF life style.

Sad thing is I could lose all your weight and still be bigger than half the people here :)

Same here...
Just stick to what works for you and what is sustainable in the long run. Even if it takes 2 years to reach your goal it will be worth it. People always say it took a couple of months / years to accumulate the weight so it won't disappear overnight. Just don't lose motivation.

Nope the sad thing is that quite a few of us would love to be a few kilos heavier :D

To some extent doing what works for you is right.. But tbh nobody I know lost weight by exercising.

Maybe get someone to look at your meals/lifestyle and see where you are going wrong.

Well hes not really going wrong he's lost a lot already - n I still disagree re: exercise - although diesting is a better way to lose weight - exercising can definitely contribute - How many fat long distance runners do you see?

How many people do you see using long distance running as a weight loss exercise?

Yes exercise does help. But you need to sort your diet out first and use exercise as an additional boost.

Sadly many people waste hours in the gym whilst paying little or no attention to their eating habits.

Irrelevant, you are on your own journey and while it might be a longer one than some that doesn't mean much in the big picture. Don't distract or discourage yourself with that kind of thinking, you know you're big now and you know you're going to be smaller later. Slow and steady ;)
Also, what GGD said - stick with what works for you and be patient. The patience is the difficult part really.

My opinion - the number 1 biggest problem is portion control - people naturally stuff themselves

My opinion disagrees with you. ;)
I used to starve myself, never lost weight.

When I ate LCHF, I ate until I was full. To bursting sometimes. Lost plenty weight.

You obviously don't watch comrades much. :p

You need to run a minimum of an hour a day for 40 days to lose about 500g of fat

But starving and stuffing are on two opposite ends of the scale

because they are extreme....
Which is why some of us believe in moderation.

You think I didn't try moderation on the way to the extreme? You don't go to an extreme as a first resort. Point I'm making is that portion control is irrelevant to my weight.

Just like eating a whole lot of fat is irrelevant to mine.
We're all different. :) All I've been saying since the beginning.
