Weight loss

Do you mean affecting it negatively?

Yes.
I hardly ever get sick.
It's just interesting when ppl get sick and then I see their diets.
Although, that being said, you can hardly call stuffing your face a diet.
Most of you in here seem to be fairly in touch with your bodies so it was just an interesting observation.

I was busy doing a bit of shopping, I did some googling while shopping... and saw that Soya Milk and Almond milk are healthy alternates to milk - I did this because I havn't had coffee in a week or so and I am really missing it :). I was at pick n pay, couldnt find almond milk but I did find Soya Milk.

Hope it was the best choice.

Black coffee

Just because it looks opaque does not make it milk. It's nut flavoured water...

Black coffee

+ 1

Soya milk apparently tastes 'as if you're eating a goats leg.' Never tried it but I'd rather go without milk.
Oh and I hear people make their own almond milk but not sure how they do it.

As long as you've ditched the carbs and sugar, cream should be fine in your coffee. That's if you end up not liking the taste of the soya milk. I have about 4 cups of coffee a day with cream . Since you're doing low carb, you might want to Google paleo, primal and keto diets.

I think its best for anyone trying to lose weight to do reseearch themselves and find out what works for their body. What works for 1 person may be less effective for another.

Basically 1.8 months till D day

If the guys on here hadn't mentioned the paleo and keto diets,I'd probably still be doing something that's not effective for me. And yes, while what works for one person might not work for another, it doesn't hurt to steer people into checking out these diets so they can do their own research.

I tried my coffee with this Soya Milk thing....not bad!! I like the nutty taste to it :D

I wont use it too much though....will alternate with black coffee at some days.

So I'm skipping breakfast each day to introduce a short fast between dinner and my next meal. Works out to about 17 hours. Lunch each day is something fatty with some protein, so I've been eating this lately - it's boerewors with chilli eggs. Delicious...

Where do you fit that into?
I have one egg and coffee for breakfast and I'm full...
