Weight loss

That's after a 17 hour fast. At that stage I'm hungry...

Don't you feel like you can eat less after not eating for that long? Because if I haven't eaten all day and I think I'm going to stuff my face now because I'm hungry, I never get to stuff my face because my tummy gets full so quickly - like it shrank

But you're fscking weird. We've established that already...

So I'm skipping breakfast each day to introduce a short fast between dinner and my next meal. Works out to about 17 hours. Lunch each day is something fatty with some protein, so I've been eating this lately - it's boerewors with chilli eggs. Delicious...

I also skip breakfast, well except for high fat coffee.

Was feeling peckish but that gross plate of food has put me off lunch, one way to continue losing weight I suppose :D

Luckily there's a description though... Otherwise its more or less unidentifiable

I think people who are taking out milk as a part of their diet are extremists, altering your diet to this extent is not sustainable, at least for the vast majority of the population. I happily drink my coffee/tea with some milk, additionally if I am really craving something sweet, I might have a teaspoon of sugar in my drink.

The same (again in my opinion) goes for ULC and ANYTHING else that alters the way you eat WAY out of the norm

The problem with this mind set is that you WILL bounce back at some point in which case you will yo-yo and fail, this failure will be associated with your diet and you will be less likely to try again

I don't see the sense of restricting yourself into misery

Not in the least. Crispy bases and cooked, but runny yolks. Not sure why more people don't crisp up the bases of eggs. It's delicious...

Not to be mean, but those eggs look like chicken abortions......................................oh wait;):D

Reasoning behind the fast?

Lol, it's totally sustainable for me. I don't think I could ever start drinking coffee again with milk! Cream for me!

Thats why I added vast - you may be a part of the minority that could sustain a large change to your diet.

I think people who are generalizing as a part of their diet are extremists, altering your beliefs to this extent is not sustainable, at least for the vast majority of the population. I happily generalize my beliefs with some personal bias, additionally if I am really craving something discriminatory, I might have an old-fashioned witch-hunt.

When I was researching intermittent fasting there were people who said that it doesn't work because you'd overeat at your next meal, but you've described what happens quite aptly :)
