Before i explain the problem here is the network setup:
Small workgroup running 4 Computers.
3 Desktops: 1 with Win 7. 2 with XP pro
1 Laptop: with Win 7.
Desktops use lan cables that connect to a switch that connects to a router. laptop uses wireless on router.
All systems running static IP addresses.
Every now and then the two desktops running win xp cannot access the desktop running win 7 but the laptop can access it fine. I restart the win 7 desktop then everyone can connect.
I can't seem to isolate if its an OS problem/Switch/Network problem.
Has anyone had a scenario similar to this before?
