40m is chump change compared to the SABC's costs of more than 5bn.
Anyway I think the article is clearly lazy because the SABC in the red to the tune of 400m or so IIRC.

Edit: Oh, why should we be thanking the ANC for a job welldone?
 
I dont believe ANY of the figures that come out the SABC ..

How many dead people have been sued for outstanding license fees? SABC cant even tell you what their viewer-ship base is.
 
Just throw more money at them, oh and SAA. Its only my tax money going to waste. So much for houses, repairing roads, etc.

the lazy ass took the M&G's article & combined it with the one from the sunday times & created a story about the SABC's finances without acknowledging either!

Um I beg to differ, your money is not going to waste. Well not in SAA's case anyway :-) They're using your taxes to buy and "export" drugs for the needy people here in the U.K :D

I'm being sued ... or rather, my cell number is being sued for R50... (I have sent repeated instructions to SABC and VVM Attorneys to updat their records. Will wait and see what their latest threat brings them.)
 
Money problems? Don't worry about it. Just follow Tswane's example and charge the poor suckers who pays TV licences double for a month or two.:rolleyes:

I paid my license 1 month late a few years back... 8 months AFTER that, I got a lawyers letter from SABC.

They were suing me for an outstanding Late-Payment Penalty fee... and THEN charging late payment penalties on THAT every month!!!
 
Everything this government has ran either has collapsed or is collapsing. SABC, Robben Island, SAA are just to name a few who have made in the news of late.

Dont ask why, but rather why not get out of this union called the RSA. The Cape is on her way...
 
Really... is "The Cape" on her way? Or are you guys just dreaming.....
