lots of OC'd q6600's out there !! Fantastic chip IMO...

Anyone got a guide on overclocking the Q6600 on a Gigagbyte GA-EG31M-S2 MB?

I did it about a year ago but lost the guide. Just though with the cooler temps these days I would squeeze out some extra HP.

Just change your FSB from 1066 to 1333 for a 3GHz result :D

Thx!

Edit: %#@&, does not look like my cooler is working properly. Things are overheating to much at 2.8GHz :(

Corsair TW3X4G133C9 XMS 3 2x2gb kit with heatsink

Samsung 2253GW
Divoom 2.1 Speakers (very nice speakers btw)
El' Cheapo Microsoft keyboard and mouse
Vista 64bit

Using onboard vga until i can save enough for a decent card.

I will be upgrading to Vista Ultimate x64, when I buy more RAM. Heard people going to Windows 7 but I dunno how stable it is and if it has drivers support yet?

From what I've heard, it's very stable and vista drivers work in windows 7. I would suggest using the RTM for now and then buy the final when it's released.
