Fibre - fast uncapped connection at home (for streaming and working from home) - MTN LTE as backup.

It was the available line in the estate that we live in and incredibly affordable. Service is very good and very stable

Sadly on ADSL available in my area. LTE not viable.

ADSL up to now the only BB service available in the Garden Route smaller towns. Recently wireless services have become available (e.g. Cloud Connect) but they are much more expensive for the same performance. Potentially LTE is an option. No fibre on the horizon here yet although Openserve lay fibre conduits a few months back.

No fibre or ADSL or LTE so I use wireless from Megasurf. Good speeds and uncapped.

I use ADSL because there's no Fibre coverage in my area. LTE is a joke where I live, so that's also not an option.

Using ADSL 10mb as I don't stream netflix yet... Also, work from home and dont want to move over to Fibre and Voip and Voip line quality sucks (based on what I see other users experiencing when phoneing from Voip to Landline). Might be way cheaper, but don't like the drop in quality. Might have to recheck my info and do a bit more study into this though.

Would jump at the chance to have fibre, but not available in our area yet

I have lived in an area with no fixed lines or fiber, I was using Afrihost mobile broadband until Rain came along. The cost is less than a fixed connection and I can take my WiFi with me when I go out.

I live in a very big town, all exchanges are 10Mbps. However, I live 3km from the exchange, I can barely squeeze out 4 only for a little while, the moment it resyncs, it goes below 3 and sometimes most times 2. Still, cheaper when comparing to LTE where I also just fall out of coverage. Mind you, I live in the most outer part of town. anyway, a telkom technician that was quite fed up with the whole 2 or 3 blocks sync speeds that he has to attend to every day says there is no plan for the next 8 years to get us up to 10. Frustrating. with LTE no cellC's network I can only pray to get 10+. But the c

Vodacom fibre as primary. Rain LTE as backup

It was fast, not inexpensive (nor overly expensive) but is a capped 20/2 account with VUMATEL (unfortunately at that point the sole provider) so what with the near R1000 connection levied on top of that and a monthly of R900 it is a bit of a luxury I allow myself.

Can't complain about the service though. Speed is okay also.
