What is wrong with this mouse!!

Hi all

Have been looking for a mouse but it's crunch time and i need to choose now.

I think the best mouse at the moment is the Cyborg RAT 7 but everyone seems to go for Razer or Logitech.
What is so bad about this mouse?

If someone has it please tell me why noone seems to like this mouse. Same thing goes for the Cyborg v7 keyboard.

Oh and one more thing. Over here it costs around R900 but on Amazon it works out to about R500 (excl shipping of course) but Amazon doesn't send to South Africa.
What is the alternative to get it shipped here??

In my humble opinion, the best mouse (at least for me) based on comfort and functionality is the Gigabyte M8000X.

As for the RAT7, I hear it's pretty fragile, but I've never used one.

I like the look of it, but as far as practicality is concerned, I worry about exactly how comfortable it is and whether or not it'll hook on everything around it.

*shrug* :)
 
What's wrong with it? Maybe it's just that it really very ugly :p

Just kidding. Never seen something like it before though.

Yes, I know. People I have spoken to about this mouse all say it is ugly and a few referred to it as "the little transformer thing in Transformers 2" :)
I, on the other hand, think it looks really awesome!!!

But the problem is I don't want the looks to cloud my judgement so I need some feedback on the actual mouse functionality because some forums say the tracker is horrible while others say there is absolutely nothing wrong if you use it with a mouse pad so I'm kinda lost at the moment. To me it's either the RAT 7 or Logitech G700 right now

IMO dont worry bout looks, look at ergonomics. So the shape and comfort. And if gamer and delay or lag.
 
I love my RAT 7, no problems with it at all since I got it at the start of the year. Guys who think it's ugly and fragile are obviously jealous and/or never actually used one ;)

robdutchmonkey what mouse pad are you using with your RAT 7?

If anyone has a Cyborg v7 keyboard i would appreciate some feedback on that too :)

I got one last week... very comfortable and doesn't feel fragile at all.

Having some tracking issues on my Razer Goliathus mouse pad though.
