What Router does Rain provide?

Hi guys, recently signed up for Rain5g on the rain one package. Wondering about the routers provided, is there a way to run a router based VPN on them?

I can’t see anywhere in the GUI to do this, but wondering if it’s possible to flash the router with original manufacturer firmware, or a dd-wrt version and then set one up. Or are these rain specific locked down routers?

They were shipping Huawei H112 devices. I believe some customers also got ZTE devices.

Dd-wrt does not have firmware for either brand as far as I know. You can see a device compatibility list on their website.

What sort of VPN settings are you looking for? The H112 does have some VPN capability.
