Actually looking again, I’d need to see the head but it could be the harmless eggeater.

Night adder. Not deadly, not a pleasant bite lol.

Ag, he can live there if he wants then, I only check the meter once a month. Was a bit of a suprise though! Box is about 1.5m off the ground.

He’ll be gone soon. They usually move during the day.

My gut feel is night adder because the body shape… flatter tummy, a bit less slender.

Just found this nope stick in my kid's room. Not particularly large - maybe 50cm. Possibly a juvenile puff adder?

Edit: Possibly a night adder?

Hard to tell without seeing the head for me. Rhombic so likely either adder or egg eater but I think the adder has darker colours than a eggie so I would lean that way.

That's a night adder. The V is very distinctive and right on the head.

Another night adder lol. We also found one in the garden today. They move about during the day. They’re pretty common this time of year wherever you’ll find frogs.

They huff and puff like puff adders or at least a bit less than, but they often are mistaken for puffies because of the noise they make. They are fairly aggro when warm.

Yeah that's why the V is normally a dead giveaway but without the head, hard to say because of all the variations but most of the ones I've seen, the egg tend to be lighter and that pic looks darker.

Treat it like a adder, safer than sorry and not sure if eggies like circuits and pool pumps but adders love them.

I might be wrong but looking at the mouth and belly ,it looks like a Black Mamba
