What was your first car

Yeah, that was my first car too, I had a silver sedan which my father bought me for my 21st.:) Was also one of my best and reliable cars. Not like the fancy mazda 323 or Mazda3 zoom zoom zoom as they call it today.
 
My 1st car was a White VW Beetle (can't remember year model).
I bought it in 1987 for R2500 from my friend's sister and sold it 1991 for R4000.
Me & my friend hiked from Bellvlle to Porterville to go and collect the car.
Good Memories !
 
Renault 5 Hatch - 4 door I think - blue and rusty,
I don't recall the year model - old is all I can say,
But had so many good times in that little thing :D
Used to call it, "The Boat" as the left shock absorber was busted and the car used to rock from side to side as you were driving.'
Now imagine going a mighty 100kph down Plattekloof Hill into town with 7 other peeps jammed into it :D
Good times *sigh*
 
Toyota 1980 1600 Corolla RWD... indestructible (I know, because I tried inadvertently a few times)
 
Diamond black BMW 525i 1992 model....Awsum car...it saved my life when a crazed chick driving 110kph in a 60kph zone hit me while i was stationary...had a bad back and neck injury bt if i had been in something like a golf i would have probably been dead...Had to sell her after the accident and she was really heavy on juice...or maybe my foot was heavy...I miss that car
 
1997 Opel Corsa 130i

First car with my own money: 2005 VW Velociti 1.4i
 
in Feb 2001 my first car was a 1998 BMW M3 4dr 3.2 ... white with black leather bought the car with 28000km on the clock and paid that time R185 000.
 
I got it in 1999 while at univ. Nissan Sentra 1993. It had 160 000km on. My brother "inherited" the car when he went to univ. and is still driving it today even though he gets a decent salary.

The car has never given us major problems, but it is starting to show its age. Although partly because my brother is pulling the thing through his arse.

My first was a 2003 Gti Mk4.

I remember how ungrateful I was, I swore my mum because I specificly said Gti R.
Now in hindsight everytime I think about that day I feel like such an ungrateful cow...

Ahh we become wiser with age ....

Modified Mk 2 csl Golf...Dam this car cost me alot to maintain. never again will i have a modified car.
 
uno, vomit green. coudnt put it into 4th or 5th gear.
good times :)
