What was your first car

something like this, same colour, with a 5cm diameter rust spot on the bonnet. I named her Cindy, after the model C. Crawford
 
1976 Ford Cortina, it was a horrible car, replaced quite quickly with an '82 Toyota Corolla (this was in 1983). Did multiple trips from Durban to Pretoria for 6 months and eventually burnt the valaves and so traded it in and got a Golf GTi.
 
1986 Red 1300 Ford Meteor with a sewer brown interior as a friend used to call it.
Had her for three years though.
 
A Ford Meteor from the mid-80s with 200 000km. I had to top up brake fluid monthly.

A few weeks after trade-in, my father (the former registered owner) got a call from the police cause someone was trying to illegally export the car to Zimbabwe. For some reason, he was still listed as the registered owner.

Though you could fix it with bubblegum and sticky tape :)
 
1300 Toyota Tazz - was a 97' model (I think) - got it in 2004.
 
VW Golf GT, 2 door 4 speed from (somewhere between) 1980 - 1984, not sure..
It had "aircon" due to rust in the floors, but that thing went anywhere i needed it to go, and usually with a max of R20 fuel, which was probably like 5 litres back then!

Miss it, and told the mrs i would actually like to buy one again..
