What was your first car

Red-Rustbucket mini.
The floor was rusted through on driver side , only a piece of lose plywood separated you from the road .
You could push the car "flintstones" style from the inside when the battery was flat , which was often ... very often .
It used to break down so often , one of our friends bought me a tow rope for my birthday .

Toyota Auris 1.6 RT 2008 and I am still driving it. Not 1 problem since its purchase besides replacing the water pump.

1983 Toyota 1.3L

It was a semi hand-me-down from my Mother. I later replaced the 1300 with a 1500 but kept the 4-speed gearbox (My first self engine swap with help from a mate and his old man). A few months later, the loving SO wrote it off

2003 1.3 Toyota Tazz
Very good on reliability and reasonably cheap to maintain,
Got very little electronics to go wrong

Nissan 1400 'kannie dood' bakkie

Would probably still be going strong without problems had it not been stolen

1992 Opel Monza 200 CD 16V.
treated a bit to get 140 wheel Kw.

Such a same that you didn't have the historically significant COTY Delta Motor Corporation 1991 Opel Monza 160i GSi

This was my (exact) own 1st car paid worth my own money...such a lovely little thing. I sourced the Fiesta RSI rims from the Gum.

1972 1600cc VW Beetle (in poo brown). Had a custom stainless exhaust fitted which was even louder than the original. Have fond memories of watching the road through the rust holes in the floor.
