What was your salary increase %?

Sheesh, spare a thought for those who got a -100% raise! ;-)

And remember the economic climate you're in now. Next year when the second recession fart comes, you might not have the luxury of a variety of jobs you can pick from. Of course, I don't know just what industry in so...

i got 15% this year..5% more than normal but hey whose complaining!

@least im smiling while posting my 200th post

Average at company was 5%, got 8.3 or something. Get raises every 6 months though, the one before that was 20%. (but before that didn't get an increase for 2y 9mo of working...)

My main concern is that if I let it happen now - they'll make a habit of it each year, and I'll eventually be under paid.

Geez and some of you still complain because it's low? At least you got a freaking increase. We haven't got one and i know a lot of people who haven't so be thankful for the small percentage you do get.

325%. Started working for myself and I bill myself out (and actually have a fair amount of work) at more than four times my previous salary.
Still, early next year I'm moving to Jhb where I will be looking forward to a constant income.

5% confirmed this mornin.

Now just hoping I get that BA position internally, a move across now , will translate into a leap in salary in the new year, when I can move elsewhere as a BA.

So - considering its an apparent recession in SA - what was your salary increase percentage?

I've been offered 5% - which, to me, is a decrease of 3% considering inflation year on year, is 8%.

I'm probably going to look elsewhere, as I'm not to happy here anyways.

I am still waiting to hear mine. If I don't get 10% I WILL leave my company as I won a R35mil tender last year and the rest of them nothing!

I'm with you.
I do not think we are getting any. So i think complaining is a bit lame:o

Thats probably why you're getting nothing

You let people walk all over you, and they will...
