People that earn R100K arent really "rich", as our ONC bretheren likes to propagandanize (new word!). More tax will definately not go down well with the majority of these "rich" people.
Please read my post again. I never ever said people that earn R100K. I never said that. I said the tax would be R100K. I said the tax would apply to the top 500 000 earners (possibly more or less because I do not have SARS figures at hand). Please read my post (post #7 and #17).

This is also not true for the politically connected ..........and whose fault is this anyway? Who was supposed to create jobs for the jobless, provide houses for the homeless? What did they do, they lined their own pockets and bought unnecessary submarines and warplanes, for what, to line their own pockets even more.

I don't have actual independent figures on the percentage of the total GDP wasted by government. However two things, these funds should go to an independent poverty relief organisation independently audited by a large auditing firm. Secondly, if you have substantial assets it may cost far more in five or ten years if the Zimbabwe model is followed in South Africa.

I understand where you are coming from. As I said all funds should go to an independent poverty relief organisation independently audited by a large auditing firm. In terms or erosion of rights, destruction of history and condemnation, I'm not sure how a person would end that unless they emigrated or established an independent homeland. Perhaps that is for another topic.

I don't think too many people will stand being forced to pay extra money because of their skin. I would bail out of here if it come down to that, my parents didn't even grow up in SA and now we must pay more tax. No sorry bs.

It was an example of how the ANC is part of every large financial transaction in this country. If you make the auditors the powers that be over the funds the ANC will control them. If you don't then the ANC will simply steal it in their normal fashion. There is NO way you will have that kind of cash without some communist screaming fraudster dipping his pinky in the "coke". The ANC has proven that they are around money like junkies around tik. You seriously don't get this do you?
