That is a very interesting looking braai. Is it super small or are those patties just massive?

****

Oh, it's on top of a table, I thought it was a stoep. Weird perspective.
Nah, it's small. Fits two parties perfectly though. Not worth firing up a Weber for these kinda "braais"

Best budget meal. R29.95 gives you 2 pieces of chicken and a decent serving of pap with a gravy. Actually enjoying this. Been a while. Just made a small green salad and it's a decent meal.

Think this household is addicted to Halloumi.

Halloumi bites wrapped in bacon. Nothing on the side except some sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Been too long since you posted in here
Getting back into things after a few stressful weeks taking its toll. Actually forgot how calming cooking and trying new stuff in the kitchen can be.

And fighting and negotiating with the wife and kids for the last few pieces was fun. I lost of course. :p

I worked late and wife said she would sort dinner...

She can barely fry an egg so I knew it was going to be takeaways.

Pleasantly surprised that she ordered Indian. Even more surprised that she ordered it in medium and hot flavour as she doesn't like spicy food too much. She is still sweating. I loved every bite!
