am so saving up for one of those automatic bread makers where you throw dough water and other stuff in to make my pizza dough. Anysuggestions? Links? Thanx :)

I mean, you don't really need anything like that since all you're trying to do is rise it. Your basic pizza dough is just flour water salt sugar and yeast. You knead it and you let it rise, then you have to roll and spin it into your base.

I'd suggest starting by doing it by hand. Do you know how to ferment yeast?

You should rather get yourself a pizza stone. And use some corn meal on the bottom to keep it from sticking to the pan. And use a 50/50 ratio of mozzarella and cheddar.

The most fun is experimenting with toppings. G/l!

i am super lazy and a bachelor so was checking to see how to make pizza bases automatically while i sit back and drink beer :) Bwana once said he uses one to make his dough.

Quick and less hassle
Still takes an hour or so to get hot, but then it's really hot. Way hotter than the oven.

My current one is a Russell Hobbs - probably 5-6 years old. I don't often use it to bake bread but it takes all the hassles out of making dough, as simple as that is.

EDIT: dough freezes really well. So make extra.

Pan?

Cheddar?

Never cheddar, unless you're cooking pizza for a four year old.

EDIT: here's as good a reason as any why not. https://www.theatlantic.com/technol...lain-why-nobody-puts-cheddar-on-pizza/381356/

You can make the dough by hand or with a machine, it's going to taste the same. If you're as lazy as I am then the machine gets the nod.

A pizza stone is a really good investment. I use them for all sorts of breads, not just pizza.

Don't judge. Only left the office a few minutes ago . And zinger wings are the spiciest fix I can get a hold of now.

This is why I loves living in Durban... Can get a proper spicy fix from any number of places until just after midnight, or if you're desperate then Johnnies is always open.
