What's for supper - Second Course

My food is all about volume, protein and taste.

My camera's picture quality is **** ... but I have never been too concerned about that.

When cooking for myself I've always tried to place rudimentary taste and my dietary requirements first.

Hmmm.
Still peckish after going out for Japanese food.
Sitting here with a beer thinking of getting some nachos going. Yeah. Beer, nachos & a movie.

Macaroni cheese with sausage.
Looks really good...but man - macaroni cheese was my least favorite meal as a kid. Never enjoyed it, no matter what was added to it. I think it was that combo of pasta & cheese sauce that I didn't like.

Late-night snack last night (picture before baking). Nachos with tomato, chilli sauce & spinach & garlic. Bake it in the oven for 15 mins & the spinach goes really nice - some soft some crispy. Guacamole to dip.

Found fresh turmeric today - dig the stuff. Gonna chop it up & freeze.

It's also probably the single most fattening thing on earth but I love the stuff. Tonight going to do a beetroot carrot soup with rolls, should be healthier.

Soup. Good idea. I'm gonna do that too. Got some garlic, tomatoes, peppers, courgette & aubergine roasting now. Gonna blend it up with broccoli and maybe some potato. Should be plenty creamy from the aubergine tho...probably won't need the potatoes.
