Whats going on here myBB?

mybroadband.co.za triggering Avast threat detection

After no response on the MBB facebook page, I thought I'd post my query here - I need my MBB daily fix and I can't get onto any of the pages (apart from this forum) without my Avast security going wild!

I'm posting from my phone here, screen shot is obviously from the desktop. But is this not a case of a malicious advert? Is it not trying to load a ZIP file along side the picture from the ad?

Thanks for the reports and screenshots. Based on our initial investigation, this is a false positive. We've contacted Avast to find out how we can resolve the issue.

And we will get some feedback when you have any developments to share?

Mybroadband Home Page - Virus warning

Anyone else seen something like this before?

I get a warning from avast

"Threat blocked"

"https//mybroadband.co.za/news/"
"Infetion"
"URL:Mal"

"process"
"C:\program files (x86)\Google\chrome\application\chrome.exe"

The page is then blocked, I would past a picture but the attach file page is doing the same thing when I crated this thread.

Similar with IE.

No it hasn't.
It's 18:54 and Avast is still giving numerous alerts when clicking mybb links:

Code:
URL: https://mybroadband.co.za/news/wp-content/plugins/simple-lightbox/content-handlers/image/js/prod/handler.image.js?ver=2.6.0
Infection: URL:Mal2
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

What about after Ctrl+F5 on a page that has been triggering the Avast alert?

That was a fresh session on a different computer. Will try again shortly.

No issues this morning - seems ok now, thanks.
