I couldn't get in to MyBroadband for the whole of yesterday - I also got the warning messages. This on a Mac with Safari, and also using Chrome.
Today it is all working okay.

Still curious to get a technical explanation from a tech forum on what the exact cause and remedy was.

Malware infections are nothing to be ashamed off stuff happens.

For those who are curious: there was no malware. We just found out that going through the proper support channels was not an effective way to get Avast to resolve false positives.

We posted on their forums instead and it was fixed promptly.

Never experienced this...

Anyway if you get a AV warning, turning it off isn't the smartest thing to do.

I'm getting it again.
Tried clearing cache, ctrl-f5 etc. but still getting a warning:

Code:
URL: [url]https://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadcasting/204142-what-to-watch-on-netflix-and-showmax-this-weekend-8.html[/url]
Infection: URL:Mal
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

I'm in this thread:
https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/879174-What-to-watch-on-Netflix-and-ShowMax-this-weekend-24-March-2017

Anyone else?

The URLs aren't the same.

vs

No complaints from Microsoft Security Essentials.
