Coming back to the issue I see your elaborate reasoning for suggesting temperature/fan control add-ons, but I do still maintain it is not good idea. First at all, when it happen computer should be in suspend state, but is not; possibly constantly bouncing from suspend and awake mode and back, or in result of internal stack overflow or tripple fault exception. I am talking about hardware assisted or (at least) kernel mode routines which run at lower lewel than any user mode application you suggest to use. Your utilities will be able to monitor things when system is fully awake, not in this case. You claim to be computer programmer, but you still need to complete some modern microprocessor architecture and system engineering courses, as you don't understand above. And keep arguing....
