Whats the shaping difference between IS and Mweb uncapped?

I left Afrihost to go to MWEB based on the fact that after-hours, I would be able to get 'full' line-speed on my measly 384k line. Well, long story short, my line is being shaped so much that I might as well walk to the freaking undersea cable myself. I am shaped 24hrs of the day(my maximum speed is 15KB/s) and having to pretty much resort to methods which might be qualified as bypassing their 'shaping' to get what I want and paid for. Problem is, they are probably the best option there is:mad:

Is that the case with all their users or are you in that situation because you downloaded a lot?
 
My download pattern was after-hours. From 7 p.m to 8 a.m weekdays and the same from Friday till Monday. Based on the fact that I am on a 384k line, I do not deem that to be excessive in any way . From what I have read on MyBB, it seems to be the case with some users but I haven't really read up on the MWEB threads so who knows how widespread it is.
