WhatsApp blocking links to Telegram

Facebook can also go fck themselves. Glad I deleted my account years ago and was when they bought WhatsApp that I switched to Telegram ... and now I have deleted my WhatsApp account also. Arseholes.

Apart from this specific issue, what else has Whatsapp done to upset you?

It sounds like there is something I need to know!

Appart from that, Telegram is just better.

That I can believe. What I meant to ask is, is there privacy concerns or other issues with Whatsapp that I should be aware of?

It seems a pretty drastic move to actively advocate Telegram for these two smallish reasons: Telegram being better in some areas, and Whatsapp blocking links to Telegram.

Does Telegram have voice calling like WhatsApp? I make a crap load of voice calls overseas with it.

Facebook is after advertising opportunities. That is how they make their dosh. They now own WhatsApp. So ja ... want F@kkol to do with them. Google and my browsing history etc I dont care all that much ... but when it comes to me and private comms between me and family and friends ... then I care.

Uninstalled Telegram as soon as I got it. It had the same issue as WhatsApp (now fixed) where it would re-raise notifications on my Android Wear watch after I have swiped it away. No, I dislike attention whore apps. I will respond to the notification at my own pace. And don't irritate me.

I don't have that issue

Oh ok. Swipe on the phone or on the watch? Sorry, I never really "got" smart watches. Find it a strange concept.

For me swipe on the watch. I don't have to take out my phone in a meeting to see what the message is about, so I know if it's urgent enough to leave to attend to it. Might give it a go again one day to see if I like it.
