The call itself was very clear indeed - The echo is just strange to talk over.

We managed to fix the echo by having the echoing party reduce the volume on their speaker

Alright it seems the caller has to drop the answered call before it activates on the far side. If the called party ends the call the VOIP call feature is not activated.

Yep... call must last more than 20 seconds and the caller must terminate the call.

I was called only for 5 seconds and it worked for me, I was listening to Pandora so we didn't chit chat.

The first call to a new person sometimes does not ring on the receiver's side. They then get a missed call notification.

Next call then goes through fine and activates them on a hang up.

Android to android. Once your android whatsapp is activated for voicecalls, when you click the button to start a new voicecall, the list of contacts is much shorter than your complete whatsapp list of contacts. Turns out, whatsapp only shows android users in the list hence the shorter list.

All my contacts who are on iOS were not in the voicecall contact list.

I presume you are on another OS, which is why you cannot receive calls.

Also, no need to repeat yourself so much.

Yes guys I'm on another OS [Blackberry] I'm thinking of dumping Blackberry now, when ever you read/search Apps you always see Android OS or Apple's IOS but nothing abt Blackberry. Blackberry is not supported at all.
