So you only want to have friend suggestions of mutual friends? Yeah, I fully see the inconvenience that friend suggestions from your contacts may cause in your life. :erm: Anyway, uninstall WhatsApp, problem solved? Or no? Does FB not request access to your contacts?

The problem appears to be Facebook, not whatever messaging app you use.

I don't have a FB profile registered on my phone, which is why I don't have this problem. I access FB via Chrome only.

If you give it permission to view contacts and makes suggestions it does - so does Twitter - not sure on the others don't use any other social media
