WhatsApp

They run android.

Sent from my apple stomping, berry crushing droid! Samsung Galaxy S.

Its an awesum app...

Think it will become a waste once they release Bbm to and and iphone users

Is anyone else unable to disconnect WhatsApp? I'll close the app, hold down the red 'hang-up' key to disconnect all data connections. Ten seconds later it'll reconnect... Even though the app is closed! :wtf:

After the Update it used to do that and stay active, but after a recent Update it does actually exit.

Are you using a Nokia by any chance? The Nokia version can't disconnect from the Internet a.f.a.i.k.

Yep, running it on an N79. I'll e-mail the WhatsApp team and see what they suggest... Thanks.

I've just updated to the latest version of WhatsApp and switched On-Screen Notifications on.....absolutely fantastic!! Feels like I'm holding my iPhone in my hand again. :)

This app really makes my Desire HD rock!!

Got this from their website:

"Our Nokia version of the application is designed to always be online and connected." It uses minimal data though, so I wouldn't be bothered by it that much. :)

Used it for a short while and then deleted it. It put a load on the battery and my BB Storm 2 already has battery issues.

Thanks for this. It's more the battery usage I'm worried about, guess it's a small price to pay :)
