Woot yes indeed, much more responsive, no more freezing, push notifications seems to still be a bit delayed every now and then sometimes on time other times I get it 5-10 mins later.

I can't even get this now because it's giving me some kind of login ID error. I can't erase my original ID, and Zune somehow thinks that the ID we gave belongs to the US. Created a new ID but it still gives the same error. This is ridiculous.

Aannd Whatsapp is back to its painfully poor delivery on Windows Phone 7.5. Aii... MrsC is about to embed her phone into my skull if this doesn't get sorted out.
If it's really that important to her, just go get some other phone.

It's looking that way yeah. They actually updated it last night but then turned out worse than before.

Check out the new update... seems a bit better. One way I wanna test is to see if it can download multiple images without needing to exit whatsapp everytime.

Seemed worse this morning. My messages only got to MrsC like 40 mins after I sent them.
Im having a lot of this, the messages take anything from 1 minute to over an hour.
I also get the toast and push notification on the live tile, but when going into the app, it takes ages to update the conversation.
The toast notifications also seem broken at points, clicking it sometimes puts my phone in a loop if there are multiple messages, and it just keeps cycling through them.

I hope they sort out the whatsapp issues on WP8, this will heavily influence my next phone decision.

I can't say it's Windows's fault but it has certainly affected my feeling towards WP.

I am sitting on version 2.8.6 and am not enjoying it at all. I have to open the app before it notifies me of new messages. Was sent a message at 8:30 pm and was only notified at 4am. joy

Latest version is 2.8.8..Also as a potential fix, try change to EDGE for the day and see if that changes anything. 3g was the culprit as to why I would only receive messages 3 hours later or when I connect to the wifi.
Also if you leave home and continue a conversation, disable your WiFi.

Uninstall first then download again? Just making sure coz last time when I just simply updated, my whatsapp was pretty kaka.
