Can you guys share music via WhatsApp on your phones?

I could do it on my E5 but I can't on my Lumia 610. Even with this past weekend's update.

I don't think there's a way to share music on Whatsapp on iPhone.

I'm finding the notifications are a lot more reliable since the update on the weekend. It still has some pretty odd glitches - like opening to Whatsapp when I click on an other app - but at least these ghastly 2 hours later notifications have gone away.

Alright, cool. I thought it is simply one of the drawbacks of WP7.8.

I find the app after the weekend update to be faster on my Lumia 610.

I also love the new emoticons - additions to the existing set that was already there. There are a lot more of them now. Great for conversations.

Only annoying thing I have noted is that there is a new error message that can pop up. Says its detected a problem with the push notificaitons and wants you to reboot your phone.

Otherwise I would say that after a couple days usage this is finally a decent version of whatsapp and more along the lines of the android version I was used to before changing to the Lumia.

With regards to the music, I recall being able to share sound files on android but never had a need or want to send anything larger than a short sound clip. Might only be available on the android version. Do miss being able to send any video though.

Every time my WhatsApp updates (Play Store), it replaces my WhatsApp+ and then I lose all my customisations. They should integrate the two and provide choice, Plus is an excellent WhatsApp mod.

The Symbian version can also share sound and video clips already saved on the phone, Android can do this as well, not sure about iOS but I know that it is an OS limitation on WP7 and 8 which is hopefully getting fixed in GDR2/3

Seen a few people complaining about the push notification error, can't say that I've had it. Maybe try uninstalling/reinstalling and make sure the WA background task isn't blocked.

I have also noted a marked increase in battery life, phone was going for 17 hours yesterday since last charge with 43% battery left which is way better than the 12 or so hours I used to get out of a full charge.
