PREPAID R1499 once-off payment
6 GB once-off data allowance valid for 365 days

We still have them.
You can got to a Cell C store.
They on Pre-paid and Post-paid.

120GB Prepaid (10GB pm x12) – R4,999 with device; R3,999 sim only
240GB Prepaid (20GB pm x 12) – R8,999 with device; R7,999 sim only

120GB Postpaid (10GB pm x 12) – R499 pm
240GB Postpaid (20GB pm x 12) – R899 pm

my mate stays in a flat and doesnt wanna get a telkom line installed (cant say I blame him) so hes looking at alternatives...

ive been house sitting a house with a cell-c 7.2mbps hooked up, and Ive been quite impressed. I took it there last night, and his speeds were even better than mine!! latency was the same, of course.

so its the 2GB x 12 @ R1499 special.

Any reason why I cant tell him NOT to go ahead?? Like new specials coming out soon or something?

any reason why he shouldnt go with vodacom or one of the other providers?

someone said in another thread that its a promo deal and wont be around much longer, is that true?

Are the 120Gb and 240Gb prepaid deals over? If not where can I get one? (tried Sandton and Morningside, keep getting promised a call back but it never happens).

Thats disappointing. Are there any replacement packages? Or can you simply not buy 20GB data bundles? (I'm talking 20GB per month, so 240GB per year).

*Edit* Thinking about it, if worst comes to worst is it possible to buy 2 or 4 5Gb bundles? I don't mind swopping out sims ...
