When did gaming become so expensive?

The cost of one extra console controller can buy two PC ones, so not really.
Not when said controller enabled you to get your vibrations on comes standard with the console. So to summarize:

If you love games or you are poor: get a PC (really, graphics etc are better)

If you love women: get a PS4

If you want to stay a virgin: get an XB One

Only a console gamer would see a console as a means of wooing women.

Regardless, at least on PC you can attract master race girls and not the peasant types.

What about getting a PC with a PS4 controller? You get cheaper games, better graphics and you still get a wireless controller.

Who cares about graphics better than the PS4 anyway. You forget about it after 5 min of playing.

Either way, off to coffee date

Our minds tend to block out unpleasant thoughts, so it makes sense that you'd stop thinking about the graphics.

You always notice the graphics when they are good. Like the amazing waterfalls in Far Cry 4 when I finally got my new graphics card. Game looks a lot better.

I know i can pirate on a pc, but its tedious. crack this, block this via firewall. allow x filepath with antivirus. jump through a hoop to make offline saves work.

i just miss the plug in and play days of the ps1-2 era

So stop pirating? Legit games seldom have issues.

These days it's click & install, at worst you will have to copy an .exe or a few .dll files across. Alternatively there's GOG DRM free titles, just got Witcher 2 which goes for US$20 yesterday.

The Witcher 2 frequently goes for $3.99.

PC Master Race.

All I hear is console peasant whinings.

g2a + steam = glorious future. There is honestly very little justifiable reason to pirate games.

Yeah, PC is the place to be.

That said, my last G2A purchase gave me a duplicate code (Shadow of Mordor for $12). Fortunately I had enabled buyer protection for a dollar, but it's been two weeks now without a refund or replacement code. The dispute resolution process is excruciatingly slow.

g2a is dodge :D

But yes uncapped, steam sales and places like gmg are the way to go.

Besides who exactly is holding the op at gunpoint to buy on release or new there is always second hand.

Really? I've never had an issue. Was it a g2a sale or a marketplace sale?

Personally never had a problem. I only buy from g2a direct or a marketplace seller with 100% and >5000 sales.
