Redline at around 21 000 rpm

Yeah, and at anything below 17000 there nothing. ;) Same as an FZ 250.
250cc four-stroke inline 4. Weird little engines. :D

The highest I got in first was 84km/h @ 14k RPM. Didn't want to rev it higher than that as it was on the red line.

I normally shift if I want to go faster :D
gear down when I want to pass someone.

Depends on the camshaft where your power lies.

Custom cams like 276 degree for example will have more power in the higher revs than lower.

I prefer having power in the lower revs. Torque ftw!
Yeah, I know. Not that it bothers me at all - 1.3 at 6000 RPM does not sound pretty. You said it. :D
